The cold and dark days of depression
Never seem to cure my strange obsession
To think I like these wet and snowy days
Sprung from King Winter’s cruel ways
By all means, it’s useless to pretend
Or believe, that winter is my friend

The skies rain sorrow over frozen land
Freezing both my feet and hands
I slip and slide trough snowy lanes
This winter even stops the trains
My bike becomes a useless thing
When far too early, darkness sets in

As my breath turns into smoke
I try to understand this Godless joke
Winter comes to no-one’s joy
It’s just some sports that find deploy
There is no point in staying up late
We should all just hibernate
